As a wildlife fanatic, I surround myself with the beauty of the natural world as much as possible and use my camera to document this. All of my photos are of wild animals, taken in their natural surroundings. Wildlife photography is my passion and I hope that my pictures help tell the stories of these animals, and my time with them
I am always happy to receive enquiries on any aspect of my photography and images. Feel free to drop me a line if you are interested in commissioning me to take any pictures for you, provide workshops on photography and getting that camera out of auto mode, assisting with any photography days or tours that you have planned, or for any enquiries about events, special occasion and portraits that you might be interested in doing. Please also enquire or email if you are interested in buying any of my prints. New prints are released regularly, so check back often. If you sign up for updates, you will get notified about new prints or books, sales, and shows.
I am based in Sussex, but grew up in Northamptonshire, and from a very young age was always interested in nature and wildlife. My father had a pair of binoculars in my hand as soon as I was able to hold them and now, some 30 years on, my interest and passion for all things wild continues.
My love of photography developed as an extension of my birding and more general wildlife watching, as well as my keen love of travelling to new and exciting destinations. It seemed a natural step to try and initially get “record shots” of the birds and wildlife that I found, but this soon developed into a continual self-improvement exercise of trying to get more natural, sharper and interesting shots of my subjects. I have been lucky enough to travel to some superb wildlife destinations such as Costa Rica, Australia, South Africa, US, Canada and across much of Europe, however, my favourite location remains the West Coast of Scotland; with such a rich diversity of exciting subjects, including Otters, Pine Martens, Red Deer, Golden Eagle, White Tailed Eagle, Seals and of course a wide variety of other bird life, I am never disappointed with a trip there, and have now been going regularly for over 20 years – There is something new and exciting to capture every time it seems.
My work has been widely published in wildlife publications, international sports press and promotional material, as well as used by large corporate clients (websites and promotional material). I hope that you enjoy looking at my work on this website.
